This journal, like a few others previously listed, is an academic publication that is primarily written for upper-level marketing students and faculty. The articles average around 15 pages each, are usually reviewed by a "blind" process, and are well researched and documented. Guidelines for manuscripts are available on the Web site.
The journal also provides book reviews and a somewhat unique "Marketing Literature Review," based on a selection of articles from a comprehensive business literature database ABI/Inform. Marketing-related abstracts from over 125 journals (both academic and trade) are reviewed by the Journal of Marketing staff.
